Everyone can benefit from assistance in staying on their leading edge. I support executives and managers in doing just that. More is expected of executives and managers today than ever before: industry-specific expertise, exceptional people skills, ability to lead and inspire teams… and oh, by the way, you’re also supposed to have a work/life balance and teach others how to do that, too. I call this “multidimensional leadership,” and my background and specialty is in assisting all levels of managers and executives in attaining this, and staying on their creative edge.
My background has uniquely prepared me to be of service in this capacity. In my early work life, I was a database designer, and then was General Manager of an electronics manufacturing corporation. I led an entrepreneurial team and developed the HR department, led the development of the Tech Support department and all training materials, led the Advertising and Marketing departments and developed all the sales and marketing materials, and successfully launched new products answering the needs of leading-edge customers such as Motorola and Hewlett-Packard. My hands-on industry experience affords me practical skills in assisting my clients in achieving tangible results, while my training in psychology addresses the pressing need for managers and executives to hone their “soft” skills, so critical in creating business cultures in which talented people thrive. I have successfully coached all levels of employees from the manufacturing line through CEO’s.
